Abstrak

Conceptually, this study aims to discuss the strengthening of law enforcement on business compe-tition andanalyze it for the economic growth of Indo- nesia. Operationaly this study intends to reveal the direct impact of enforcement of Law no. 5 of 1999 concerning Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition for the business compe- tition climate and its effect on the economic growth of Indonesia. Theoretical findings in thisresearchare:(1)theinfluenceoflawenforcement on business com- petition, (2) the direct influence of healthy business competition climate toward economic growth, (3) the existence of legal effect on competition and national economic growth of Indonesia.
