Abstrak

This research aims to explore the progress of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and how digitization is driving the growth of Indonesia's digital economy. The study employs a qualitative research method, which emphasizes in-depth observation to comprehensively understand phenomena.

The findings reveal that advancements in ICT significantly encourage the digitization of the economy, necessitating digital transformation. This transformation involves the application of digital technology within ICT to reshape how organizations and economic systems operate, innovate, and communicate.

Digital transformation in economic activities enhances efficiency, boosts productivity, and delivers added value to both producers and consumers. As a result, digital transformation serves as a fundamental driver of Indonesia's economic progress, enabling the nation not only to achieve economic sovereignty but also to compete as a developed country, fostering prosperity for its people.
