Abstrak

This study aims to determine the extent of the impact of the green economy on national economic development. The research method used in this study is the Library research method. According to Sugiono (2019) The library research method is a way of collecting data by taking various written sources, such as books, journals, articles and research reports that are relevant to the research topic. This method usually takes secondary evidence in conducting research, without using direct data collection. The results of the study show that the Green Economy has the advantage of offering sustainable growth where natural resources can not only meet current needs, but also with its ability in natural resource efficiency, economic resources can also be used by future generations. The approach used is to meet the needs of the current generation, without ignoring the ability of nature to support the fulfillment of future generations. The main focus of the green economy is that economic development must pay attention to the sustainability of the socio-economic environment, by maintaining balance with nature. With the aim that future generations enjoy a green future. The green economy in relation to sustainable growth, always prioritizes economic policies that are based on the sustainability of the natural environment. Encourage an increase in national income, improve people's welfare, maintain sustainable growth. In carrying out production, operate technology that does not cause problems and is environmentally friendly The green economy also produces the same goods as the economy in general. Consumer choices are the same, as are the available production factors. However, in a green economic system it does not cause pollution and carbon emissions. Green economy also realizes the goods and services needed by consumers, in addition to determining upstream factors, namely exploration of raw materials that do not ignore the environment, but also maintain downstream production materials so as not to damage the environment. By investing in renewable energy, providing new space for the creation of new jobs, in fields related to renewable energy, such as technology, automotive industry, agricultural equipment industry, and food.
